It has a very good disease resistance profile with a rating of 7.9 for the yield robbing disease Septoria tritici; an attribute considered of great importance in many regions of the UK.

LG Sundance has shown very good yield potential in both fungicide treated and untreated trials and good consistency of yield over both regional and seasonal databases.

LG Sundance is a taller strawed variety, similar to JB Diego and has a later maturity rating, similar to KWS Santiago. It has a very good disease resistance profile with very good resistance to yellow rust and Septoria tritici. The variety also carries resistance to OWBM. It offers distilling market opportunities.
