LG Beowulf is the highest yielding variety on the AHDB Recommended List 24/25 with an excellent agronomic package

LG Beowulf winter wheat offers consistent yield across regions, seasons and scenarios, along with very good disease resistance. 

This variety has very stiff straw and a high specific weight, plus LG Beowulf offers growers the security of Orange Wheat Blossom Midge (OWBM) resistance.

LG Beowulf is a hard feed Group 4 winter wheat and performs well in all regions of the UK. It can be sown into all soil types, from light to heavy land. This variety provides flexibility as it can be drilled early, normal or late and it can be grown as a first, second or continuous wheat. It really does tick all the boxes for feed wheat growers!
