BTS 3610 is a high yielding variety in both treated and untreated trials, and offers the key agronomic characteristics that growers look for in securing maximum yield potential on farm.
BTS 3610 sugar beet has a high sugar content (17.4) combined with a good disease resistance profile of Rust 6.2, Powdery Mildew 5.2 and Cercospora (6.9). These characters combined with its low bolting figures; ESB 2170 and NSB of (0) make it an attractive choice for growers, offering a robustness for the later drilling scenario.
Interestingly, BTS 3610 is one of only a few varieties that have achieved a NSB count of 0 over the 3 year data set – an important attribute if bolting is a key consideration on your farm.
BTS 3610 has high adjusted tonnes (treated: 98.9%) (untreated: 100.6%). Its sugar content is also high at 17.4%.
