Amarone is a conventional variety boasting the TuYV resistance trait that gained recommendation for the north region. It is a short stiff stemmed variety with an excellent disease resistance with 7 for light leaf spot
and a 6 for phoma stem canker. The variety has strong autumn dynamic growth profile and strong spring vigour.
