A traditional 80/20 wildflower mixture for acidic soils.

The species selected in the LG 5 mix are suited for acidic soils, they will produce an attractive diverse meadow mixture.

Farmers and landowners are now being encouraged to establish field margins and new areas of wildflowers which will help populations of butterflies, bees and other insects increase. This also provides habitats for game birds and other wildlife. 

Farmers who meet the eligibility, may be able to sow wildflowers as part of their Countryside Stewardship Scheme levels. Further details are available from www.gov.uk/countrysidestewardship
