This is a full-time, on-site role; field, warehouse and office based.
Additional hours will be likely during peak periods i.e. harvest.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Organise all aspects of seed production including seed preparation, drilling, identifying botanical characteristicsm selection, harvesting, cleaning and sampling

- Maintain regular internal contact with both the breeding and commercial teams throughout the year

- Ensure all deadlines are met and accurate records are maintained and available to the relevant departments as required

- Assist with other activities undertaken by the Woolpit team including work on field trials and quality lab assessments

Person specification

Five GCSE or equivalent including English and Maths. Previous experience in agriculture or horticulture would be an advantage. Ability to plan and organise under own initiative, motivate others within a team and have a flexible work approach work including outside normal hours. Familiarity with MS Office or similar. A full driving license is essential. 

Legal right to work in the UK is required as we are unable to sponsor this position.
