Terms and Conditions
1. To enter, complete the Guess the Maize Seeds Competition entry form at UK Dairy Day on Wednesday 16th September 2026, providing your name, contact details and guess for the total number of maize seeds contained within the display jar.
2. The prize is Five 50,000-seed units (five packs) of LG Highlight Maize Seed treated with Korit Pro seed treatment.
3. The competition is open to UK mainland residents aged 16 years or over, excluding employees of Limagrain UK and their immediate family.
4. Entry into the competition is subject to the successful completion of the competition entry form, including the submission of a seed-count estimate. By submitting an entry, participants consent to receiving marketing communications from Limagrain UK. You may unsubscribe at any time by emailing enquiries@limagrain.co.uk with the subject line “Unsubscribe”.
5. The competition will close at the end of The UK Dairy Day event on Wednesday 16th September 2026.
6. Only one entry per person is permitted.
7. The winner will be the entrant whose guess is closest to the actual number of maize seeds contained within the display jar.
8. In the event of two or more entrants submitting equally close guesses, the winner will be selected at random from those tied entries.
9. The winner will be notified by Friday 25th September 2026 using the contact details provided on the entry form.
10. If we can’t get in touch with the winner within 5 working days, we will contact the person with the next closest guess.
11. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available. No alternative seed variety or substitute prize will be offered.
12. If the prize variety is unavailable due to stock availability, Limagrain UK reserves the right to substitute it with a comparable variety.
13. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence or discussion regarding the outcome of the competition will be entered into.
14. The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity, PR and marketing activities relating to the competition.
15. Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
